For those of you who might not be in the facebook universe, I posted this note yesterday:

1. I will be going back to school this fall – I just don’t know where (ask me in April)

2. I once considered converting to Islam

3. I was born left-handed, but my grandparents forced me out of it

4. I am self-conscious about the stains on my teeth but am opposed to the idea of bleaching them, lest my smile resemble a fluorescent light bulb

5. My favorite pig-out habit is to eat something sweet (cookies, munchkin donuts) with a big bag of classic Lay's

6. I am afraid of dying alone

7. I think the complete DVD set of Seinfeld is one of the best tangible gifts that I have ever received

8. I, too, despise white socks and will be phasing them out of my wardrobe over the course of 2009

9. I desperately want to have some “work with my hands” skill in the event of an apocalypse/computer uprising followed by the enslavement of the human race

10. I think forgiveness is the most powerful force of all time

11. I like horror movies, specifically of the ilk that AMC plays on Fear Fridays – very cheesy, not really scary, patently absurd (i.e. Earth vs. The Spider, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, Halloween III)

12. I maintain that Godfather III, while not the best of the series, is still AWESOME

13. I want to learn watchmaking (per #9)

14. While I am proud of President Obama, he will always get the side-eye from me for snubbing Sphere when we wanted to interview him back in 2004 (he had agreed to it before the DNC speech)

15. I say “Insha’Allah” (meaning “God willing”) from time to time because I think Arabic is a beautiful language

16. I am currently taking a screenwriting course

17. I cuss to make people laugh

18. Though I watched the Cosby Show growing up, it made far less of an impact on me than did The Fresh Prince (“You think I want THIS?! It just HAP-PENED!!”)



19. My autobiography will have the subtitle: “I’m Not Going Out Like That”

20. I haven’t done anything at work today

21. When I get facebook events that I can’t/won’t attend, I usually just click “Remove from Events” because I don’t want whoever invited me to see me in the “Not Attending” box (unless I write an apology on the wall)

22. I think I spend more time than I should thinking about what others think of me

23. The broadening of my musical tastes is one of the top reasons I’m glad I work where I do (anybody else love Duffy's "Rockferry"?)
